Iris Onassis was born in Palacios, Texas and raised in the Houston Heights.  She graduated from the University of Houston - Downtown with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice in December of 2005.  For the next several years, Ms. Onassis worked for the Harris County District Clerk’s office.  In the fall of 2014, she began classes at South Texas College of Law, while also working at a law firm.  She graduated with her Juris Doctorate in May of 2018 and was licensed to practice law in November of 2018.  Prior to joining Lucero Wollam, Ms. Onassis worked for Lone Star Legal Aid as a staff attorney.
